I loath warrior/monk builds. My solo purpose in life is to make them burn. lol Seriously, W/MO is a seriously powerful build, in high level pvp its rock solid.

oxx......how can you even think...concieve of the notion, that the game will be even remotely similar at level 20, doing pvp, to your level 5 in noobland?
Warrior/monks are good pvp characters, but they arent really ment to be loaded down with spells, you need adrenal attack skills like sever artery, or executioners strike (examples) to be effective at your role, which is a melee damage dealer with an amazing ability to absorb punishment.
You only have 20 energy and two arrows of energy regen. Comparitively, a monk has much more energy, and 4 arrows of regen. Guess which one makes a better spell caster.

my original w/mo build was rock solid in pvp.
For Great Justice
Sever Artery
Final Thrust
Shield Stance
Distracting Blow
Shielding Hands
Healing Breeze
Rez
Shield Stance and Shielding Hands together practically make your character immune to physical damage for a period of time, especially useful when you want to rez some team members, distracting blow to counter anyone trying to interupt you. Combat wasn't too bad either, starting with great justice, throwing in some sever arterys and final thrust for doing nasty damage when ppl are below 50% hp, great for deathblows against monks or elementlists.
Can anyone offer any improvements?

ya, switch to hammer. In pvp the ability to disrupt and knockdown is key. While the sword is very effective, it it still difficult to put somebody away with it. hammers on the otherhand can be loaded down with knockdown skills. So while you dont have the added defense of a shield or the extra energy that sword or axe warriors may have, with knight's armor (and stonefist guants) you dont take all that much damage anyways. The hammer is godly in the hands of the right person. Especially if you can find backbreaker.

For some reason , people generally ignore warriors in pvp untill they do something spectacularly annoying, like interupt a res, or knockdown a huge aoe. Thus, your job is to be ignored until you have an opportunity to do something spectacularly annoying.
That or go full damage and wtf pwn everything that isnt ready for a damage specced warrior.
I like to go 10 smiting, 10 str, 13 (+1 hat, +1rune) swords
1. Sever Artery
2. Gash.
3. Galrath Slash. (or hamstring)
4. Final Thrust.
5. Hundred Blades or Smite.
6. Flurry.
7. Strength of Honor.
8. X (if Im feeling charitable, Ill bring a res, if Im not, I replace this with something rediculous like endure pain, or something else I want to test in combat)
run up to them > flurry > bleed them > flurry > unload every adrenal skill at once then smite or hundred blades ftw. Works like a charm, unless they are a monk or warrior with anything more competant than a mutant sea sponge at the controls, then you have to just do what I said twice, then they die.
*disclaimer* This only applys to pickup group pvp, team pvp your job is to fullfill whatever role your team lacks, crippling, weakening, interupting, etc.

I've been war/nec, war/ele, and now i'm trying war/mo despite the fact that I hate paladins and tend to build towards ruining their day. Atlast, I have been searching for one unique skill that could compliment my hammer skills well enough to keep and i've found that from the monk line of skills sadly. Shield of Protection....ouch.
I use that one skill and i'm playing around with some of the aoes. Haven't found the right one yet. Obviously, I did attempt to use the ele ones too. Just couldn't find one that fit well. Not even aftershock...stupid long animations are not worth it. Earth shaker and aftershock...despite what looks obvious.....is completely worthless. Earth Shaker sucks hardcore. 10 adrenaline? Yeah! maybe if damage taken was accounted for! I did end an arena match vs 4 others with that combination...just luck. It was funny when it worked but I'm not holding my breath to see it again.
Anyways...trying to use that smiting aoe that does 26 dmg for 5 seconds...5 energy..(good good)...says it has a 2 second casting time but in game its longer...so....i dunno..i'll keep trying to use it for a bit..
I just think its so freaking odd that the exact things i have been searching for.... through a million skill points..... is coming from the monk line of skills. Damn it to hell. WHY!
Just want something to help this hammer guy...you know....the guy that everyone gangs up on in the arena...This is the best setup I have come up with so far.

My w/me was constantly ganged up on, people just hate diversion, having there skills cut of for 30 seconds is a long time, especially to monks lol
